Rural Route Radio for Feb 1, 2017

So why all the violence and protest in the past few years in the United States? Well my Rural Route Radio guest today Alice Lindsay Venter is married to man from South Africa. Lets just hope we are all wrong about this current erosion of property rights at home. Warning if you into Disney style fairy tales, don't listen.

I am very confident most people reading this would agree with me that the inaugural ceremonies that took place recently in Washington, D.C., were very invigorating.
When you have a president of the United States who included God as many times as Donald Trump did, along with sentiments that the nation’s control would be returned to “we the people,” how could you not be overly excited about our future?
Last week I had KrisAnne Hall, a veteran, an attorney and most importantly, a constitutionalist, on my Rural Route Radio program. We had an interesting conversation about how good things have gotten now. However, we both agreed on air that no matter what the thought process was in the White House, this country is only governed by the people IF the people are willing to step up and assume the responsibility to take the initiative.

Since 1973 the U.S. Fish and Wildlife claims thousands of animal species listed as endangered 11 have been successfully recovered. UMMM 6 of them don't even exist in the U.S. but hey that is alternative facts (I mean the Red Kangaroo is one example). If I didn't know that farmers used to control these lands in Africa this concept may be more appealing. Oh yes this is the very land where murdering thugs from the African Gov came in murdered and stole from the white farmers to turn in the wildlife tourist trap. I actually know a couple who left in fear of their life.

Researchers are debating whether to privatize endangered species

The earth is currently in the midst of a mass extinction.
Experts suggest that by the middle of the century, as many as two-thirds of the planet’s species could be extinct. The most likely cause of this sobering phenomenon is climate change, which is throwing off the balance of natural ecosystems and forcing animals to migrate or adapt to changing weather conditions.
Despite these facts, Republican leaders in the US have signaled that they intend to roll back the influence of the Endangered Species Act, claiming it is not being used as Congress intended when it passed the law in 1973. An Australian professor has suggested a different approach to the problem: privatizing wildlife.

For those of you getting your panties in a wad or your chest tattooed with graffiti you might want to actually read the Executive Order sign by President Donald Trump instead of reading what hate-mongering journalist wrote.

In order to protect Americans, the United States must ensure that those admitted to this country do not bear hostile attitudes toward it and its founding principles.  The United States cannot, and should not, admit those who do not support the Constitution, or those who would place violent ideologies over American law.  In addition, the United States should not admit those who engage in acts of bigotry or hatred (including "honor" killings, other forms of violence against women, or the persecution of those who practice religions different from their own) or those who would oppress Americans of any race, gender, or sexual orientation.

Refugee applicants who are already in the USRAP process may be admitted upon the initiation and completion of these revised procedures.  Upon the date that is 120 days after the date of this order, the Secretary of State shall resume USRAP admissions only for nationals of countries for which the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and the Director of National Intelligence have jointly determined that such additional procedures are adequate to ensure the security and welfare of the United States.

I would like to take just a moment and clarify some rumors that are floating about. I even heard of a USDA employee misinforming people at the very meeting in Great Falls, MT that I am speaking at.

President Trump did not issue an order silencing employees of the USDA and EPA as you may have been told.

This is an example of the headline.

Trump Administration Restricts News from Federal Scientist at USDA, EPA.

False.

On Friday morning Inauguration Day BEFORE the swearing in the Obama Administration issued this internal memo. The memo was lifted directly from the 2009 memo that Bush Administration issued prior to the swearing in at that time.

It is standard procedure for the one administration to do this before transition.

What is not standard procedure is for individuals to leave out certain vital information which would leave the public believing the incoming President is trying to place a gag order on employees.

Just call me a simple cowboy from the Sandhills of Nebraska but it seems to me if I had the attention of the entire nation with a women's march/protest/terrorism which ever best suites your fancy well then I would talk about something that really matters.

From the NY Alliance Against Sexual Assault.

The Scope of The Problem
  • One woman in four will sexually assaulted during her lifetime.
  •
  • 683,000 adult American women are forcibly raped each year. This equals 56,916 per month; 1,871 per day; 78 per hour; and 1.3 per minute.
  •
  • Only 16% of rapes are ever reported to the police.
  • 61% of rapes occurred before the victims were eighteen years old. 29% occurred when the victims were younger than eleven.

Or Maybe

According to USDA, an estimated 14% of American households (17.4 million households) were food insecure in 2014, meaning they lacked access to enough food for an active, healthy life for all household members.
The Census Bureau statistics establish two grades of food insecurity: Very low food security and low food security.
Too many children do not have access to enough healthy food daily.

Farmer's Almanac with best days to wean

Well in light of a very inspiring Inaugural speech by President Donald J. Trump on Jan 20, 2017 I have bad news to share.

We wean all of our calves by the sign of the moon. We have found that if we don't wean on the proper sign they will bawl longer, run the fence longer and really cause holy hell longer.

The best wean dates for Jan 2017 do not start until Jan 22, 2017.

Given that we know 94 million American citizens have been relying on the Federal Teats and today officially wean they are going to work as hard as possible to get back to their mother. Best of luck to those in law enforcement in this country keeping the fences up to snuff.

Sonny Perdue to be named for Secretary of Agriculture post

On Jan 19, 2017 Sonny Perdue from Georgia was named to be the Trump Administration's Secretary of "the People's Department" - the Department of Agriculture.

On this very day in 1861, Georgia withdrew from the Union. I feel that is very symbolic of the division that currently exists in the Union. I personally feel that Mr. Sonny Perdue is the perfect person to lead our nation, particularly from a food production standpoint, toward unity.

A person that understands farming and politics yet is not afraid to speak his mind and stand up for what he believes is right is the perfect choice for this day and time.

Thank you President Trump

Government versus Manufacturing Jobs

I have decided that I will log a monthly running total of the change in government employees versus people who actually produce something we need. Lets remember that 20% of the eligible work force does not work. That is the number much more important the unemployment statistic the Federal Government has provided for us.

So today the best numbers I can get have 22,235,000 Federal, State and Local employees and 12,275,000 manufacturing jobs.

LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN
