First of all the reduction of food inspections (FSIS) and significant increase in FDA does not provide real world solutions for increasing safe food supplies.
Rural Development – The bill provides a total of $2.4 billion for rural development programs,
which is $180 million above the fiscal year 2013 enacted level. These programs help create an environment for economic growth by supporting basic infrastructure, providing loans to increase
opportunities for rural businesses and industries, and helping balance the playing field in rural
housing markets.
Increase in Rural Development is all about the Government "assisting" you in building in Rural America without a legitimate means of sustainability for your family because they created road blocks for employers.
I do appreciate the committed funding to Agricultural research.
